Christof Heringer (1961- ) studied piano and music theory at the Pfälzische Musikademie in Speyer, Germany and electronic keyboard instruments at the Bundesakademie Trossingen. He is a pianist, composer and music school teacher. He also concertizes in jazz and classical styles. He has been a guest teacher at the Musikakademie Hammelburg and at the Dahner Jazz Rock Days.
He composes mostly for piano and jazz trio. For piano he wrote the "Short Pieces" series. For jazz trio he composed a complete concert program recorded on the CD "Realize". His first CD "Work" came out in 1991.
