Clamor Heinrich Abel is the father of violinist and violist Christian Ferdinand Abel and the grandfather of the composers and viol virtuosos Karl Friedrich Abel and Leopold August Abel.
He worked in Celle as an organist, in Hannover as a chamber musician in the court and in Bremen as “Obermusicus”.
