César Franck : Panis angelicus (orchestral version)
“Panis Angelicus” was incorporated into the liturgy by César Franck as part of his Messe à trois voix, but is often performed as a standalone work due to its self-contained musical form. The composition combines a sweeping, cantabile melody with a restrained accompaniment, allowing the sacred text to stand out clearly.
