Frederic Chopin : Valse (Waltz) in A minor
Frédéric Chopin’s Waltz in A minor, Op. 34 No. 2, is characterized by a distinctly melancholic melody that creates a gentle sense of drama through the interplay between the right hand and the accompanying bass figure. The flowing, often dotted rhythmic figures create a floating waltz rhythm that retains an elegant lightness despite the A minor key.
