Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart : Missa brevis in G (Version for mixed choir and orchestra)

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Missa brevis in G major, K. 140, is characterized by a compact musical structure in which several liturgical text sections follow each other in quick succession without lengthy interludes. Despite the concise form, Mozart uses a lively alternation between choral passages and short solo interjections, creating a varied sound structure within the short mass movements.

An early work in pastoral style. Taken in altered format from the Manfred Hoessl collection (www.mhoessl.de)
