Anerio, Felice (1560, 1614)

Felice Anerio (1560-1614) followed the tradition of Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina, and succeeded him as composer of the papal chapel. He wrote above all sacred music a cappella, as well as madrigals, canzonets und instrumental dance movements.
