Scharring, Stefan

Stefan Scharring was born in Pinneberg, near Hamburg, Germany. As a child he studied classical piano and organ. He continued his musical education with piano lessons with Philipp Moehrke of the Jazz and Rock School in Freiburg. There he also studied composition and arranging with Bernhard G. Hofmann.



In his day job he is a physicist. He writes songs and plays piano in bars and various jazz groups on the side. He also works as a composer and church organist.
