Each of the 13834 compositions we publish may be downloaded and printed. Each comes with an audio (MIDI) file, to help people get a mechanical, electronic idea of what each composition sounds like. Some of our members publish their own musical performances of particular OML compositions. In this way, the OML is a unique facility for the promotion of musical activity.

The music in the Online Music Library consists mainly of editions prepared by musicians for musicians using various music notation programs.
