Claudia Diana Zweinert ("Diana Blue") was born in Jena on February 1st, 1984. For as long as she can remember, any object with which one may somehow make a sound seem magical to her. In the same year as she began attending school she also had her first piano lesson. She composed her first song when she was seven. When she was 11, she switched to keyboard and received lessons on composition and computer arranging. From then on, she’s regularly produced new compositions.
After a successful high school career and a short “excursion” in the working world (training as a physical therapist, incomplete medical studies), Diana returned to music in 2008. She taught herself to play alto and tenor saxophone. Since 2008 Diana has been a composer for the GALASOUND, a publisher of music. In 2010 she founded her own record label (db recordings music & media; LC: 24487) and released her first album (Diana Blue - Sax goes Classic). In 2011 Dian Blue also founded a music publisher, Stella Veneta Music & Media, to publish her own compositions as well as those of other composers.
