Suter, Max 10/17/1951

Max Suter was born and raised up in Switzerland. When he was 14 years old he discovered the guitar and started to play songs he heard. The Bourée from Bach's lute suite was the start for listening to classical guitar music and playing it.

After his music studies in Lucerne he became a guitar teacher. While working with his students, he started to write down his musical ideas. So, the collection of his guitar pieces in different styles, partly also played by his students, grew more and more.

Today, Max plays beside the classical guitar also electric guitar, bass guitar, ukulele, mandoline and banjo.
