1964: Born in Augsburg, the beautiful, bittersweet town that also produced Leopold Mozart and Bertolt Brecht
1981-87: Studied music at the Leopold-Mozart-Konservatorium Augsburg
1985: Certified music teacher for piano and oboe
1986: “Staatliche Musikreife” (state diploma) for piano
Since 1993 regular appearances in variety shows all over Germany
November 2008: Second Prize at the “Amici Artium” Cabaret Contest for “PinkMoll”
October 2009: Jury Award “Stockstädter Römerhelm” for Schimpp’s and Christine Gogolin’s “PinkMoll” act
Various compositions for visual artists (art performances, animated short films) and variety show artists
December 2011 / January 2012: Performances of Schimpp’s Concert Overture for Diabolo, Piano and Orchestra at Musicaltheater Bremen and Philharmonie Munich as part of Roncalli’s “Circus Meets Classic” show
