Störl, Johann Georg Christian 08/14/1675 - 07/26/1719

Johann Georg Christian Störl was a bandleader and organist in Stuttgart. In 1687 he became the court discantist for the chapel choir in Stuttgart. In 1697 the duke sent him to Nuremberg for musical instruction under Pachelbel. In 1701 he studied composition un Vienna under Ferdinand Tobias Fischer. In 1706 he received a provisory appointment to the court chapel in Stuttgart and in 1707 he took up a position as the choir director of Stiftscapelle in Stuttgart.
