The tenth among the small Christmas tunes from Esterházy's collection >HARMONIA CAELESTIS< is away from making music at sight soloistically or chorally for voices and instruments, and yet the right festive charm. As a continuo both guitar, lute, harpsichord or organ stop suited to the viola da gamba or cello. As an alternative to the Latin verses, also a German version is highlighted.
