Johannes Rauh (born in 1960) passed the church music A-examination in 1982, the artistic matriculation examination for piano in 1985 and the concert examination for organ in 1987.
He recorded Louis Vierne's complete organ works for his internet presentation on youtube.
Johannes Rauh is also active as a composer. He composed the piano cycle "Northern Lights" and the organ cycle "Offenbarungen" as well as the Jesus oratorio.
In 2013, J. Rauh took part in the "17th European Organ Festival" in Kremnica, Slovakia, as organ soloist. In 2016 he won a third prize at the ''II International Rachmaninov Composition Competition''. In 2018, he was awarded a prize at the ''30th Siegburg Composition Competition''.
