Music teacher at the cantonal school and conservatory.
Conductor of the ''Enge Male Choir''.
1897 Awarded citizenship of the city of Zurich.
1901 Foundation of his own music school of the "Zurich Music Academy".
Professor.
Died on August 19, 1909 in Zurich.
Composed songs and choirs. His opus encompasses about 150 works.
One of Angerer's students was Robert Cantieni (1873-1954).
In Bad Waldsee and in Zurich streets are named after Angerer.
