Born on November 11, 1936. Studied music education in Munich with Friedrich Wührer (piano) and Gerhard Hüsch (voice).
1961 to 1969: Working as a teacher at a “musisches Gymnasium” (grammar school with a focus on the fine arts) in Aschaffenburg.
1979 to 2002: Professor for voice, piano accompaniment for school teachers and voice training/physiology at the University of Music, Würzburg.
Lieder and concert singer (oratorios and mostly early music), long-time member of the Ulsamer Collegium.
Concerts under well-known conductors (Karl Richter, Helmut Rilling, Wolfgang Gönnenwein and others); appearances in TV programs from Saarländischer, Hessischer and Bayerischer Rundfunk, numerous recordings for many German radio stations. Concerts in almost all South American countries, Canada, the USA, Japan and many European countries.
Starting from 2002, increased composing activities (mostly “crossover” music, influenced by jazz and pop, many pieces aimed at a young audience; musicals, lieder, masses, cantatas published by Carus Stuttgart, Möseler, Haas-Musikverlag Köln).
