Mühe, Hansgeorg 05/26/1929 - 10/01/2022

Hannsgeorg Mühe studied piano and composition in the Musikhochschule and musicology at the University of Leipzig. There he also received his doctorate and university lecturing qualification. He has been active as pianist, conductor, arranger, and professor of musicology in Weimar.



Once a month, on a Wednesday evening, Herr Mühe gives a classical piano recital in his Studio (Studio M/Musicloft) for the citizens of the city and their guests.

For his services to the promotion of cultural life in Thuringia in general and for the town of Kranichfeld in particular, he was made an honorary citizen by the town and received the district's local history award.

So if you should ever find yourself in the neighborhood of Kranichfeld, you are are cordially invited to come. Kranichfeld lies near Weimar on the edge of the Thuringian Forest (www.Kranichfeld.de)
