Werner Falley was born in 1939 in Halberstadt, Germany. After a career in advertising he finally studied music (recorder and guitar) in 1970 in Wuppertal and Essen, Germany. Then he taught recorder and guitar at different music schools for a living. Since 1995 he has been a private music teacher and director of the private music school "PriMus" in Leverkusen.
In 2005 he founded and continues to direct the recorder ensemble "Ensemble für Alte Musik (Ensemble for Early Music) - Leverkusen" as well as the recorder quartet "Flauti vocales". He is also a member of the duo "Flauto Kithara" (recorder and guitar) as well as member of the guitar trio "trio tedesco".
