The trumpet method books by Michael Werner have steadily become standard work for lessons with young trumpet players. As a supplement to the two textbooks (Vol. 1: ED 9931, Vol. 2: ED 9932) he has now published the second tune book which contains a wide and varied range of songs and pieces: particularly duos, some trios and quartets, but also many pieces for trumpet and piano. Containing works by Pezel, Schütz, Clarke, Altenburg, Händel, Mozart, Schubert, Fauré, Verdi, Joplin and many other composers, this volume is a treasure trove for pupils' concerts and music lessons. The level of difficulty of the pieces is consistent with the progression of the second volume. Many pieces also include suggestions for the accompaniment with percussion instruments.
