Ballad

Here is the magnificent Slide Hampton arrangement of this timeless Thelonious Monk composition as recorded by the Maynard Ferguson Orchestra. It has all the elements you would expect from a gorgeous ballad, plus a double-time swing feel intro and double-time latin feel conclusion to perk the ears of your listeners. It also includes the transcription of Maynard Ferguson’s awesome trumpet solo! 5-5-4-3
