Hog Bristle Night

Alvin Vikman has given a delightful musical setting to Elsa Grave's earthy poem about the sow snoring in the sty's stench. In "Svinborstnatt" (Hog Bristle Night), the poet Elsa Grave describes how the sow, with her double chin, snores in a sty filled with a stale odor. This evocative text has been set to music by Alvin Vikman and is dedicated to the Stockholm Music Gymnasium Chamber Choir and Sofia Ågren.
