Frederic Chopin : Singing Chopin arr. by Dieter Glave
"Singing Chopin" is an arrangement of Frédéric Chopin's Concerto Etude No. 1 op.25 for mixed choir and piano. Due to the partly complicated harmony the piece is technically demanding and only an option for particularly ambitious choirs. It is rhythmically simple but the intonation has to be very precise and intensive (eight parts). If performed convincingly, "Singing Chopin" can become the highlight for a top-class choir. Even in demanding choir competitions it could have an outstanding and lasting effect.
