Computer systems consultant (retired), with a lifelong passion for music. I have conducted choirs, played the church organ (for many years), and written just a little music - for orchestra, for string quartet, for voices, for use both in church and elsewhere.

When I am not reading, writing, playing, listening to music, I look at a particularly deep mathematical problem (a subject in which I hold a university degree) which concerns the rate of universe expansion. And that too, in its way, is musical - in its elegance and perfection of form.
