Ferenc Kersch was a Hungarian kapellmeister, composer, choirmaster, pianist, piano teacher, and writer on music. One of his pupils was Béla Bartók. He was known in the German-speaking world as Franz Kersch. He was born in Bácsalmás and died in Esztergom.
