Longtime music and religion teacher (retirement 2014) at a school with focus on music; instrumental teacher for trombone, euphonium and tuba; orchestra leader (wind orchestra, big bands); as trombonist member in several bands and wind ensembles, as well as singer (bass) in a German-American choir; organizer of many cultural projects and workshops for students; (co-)organizer of district culture projects; collaboration in music projects with refugees.
Have worked with Yiddish music, with the music of persecuted and ostracized composers and / or unjustly forgotten composers and with music on the themes of war and peace.
Open for good music of all times and regions, the love for Bach, Schubert and Mahler is always in the foreground.
