Andreas Wittkopf : Songs without words - Third (Sina Anea von Rahden)
In my piano lessons, I start early - often in the 1st year - with workshops on harmony and composition, because: Just being able to play music is like being able to read and read aloud, but never being able to write a letter.
It was in one of these workshops that Sina Anea von Rahden wrote this piece for piano. In the - unsuccessful - search for names for these short “songs”, we decided that they should simply be numbered consecutively, depending on which language they were written in. Hence: Songs without words - Third. I created the (easy) concerto movement for piano and strings from this piece. With your permission, I present the piece here. Perhaps there are school orchestras who are looking for exactly that: Good-sounding, easy movements for piano and strings...
