I was raised in Freising in religious circles and taught myself to play the flute, guitar, piano and organ according to the motto “learning by doing”.



I received my first position as organist at age 14. The next year, the pastor handed me Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata, which I performed for the organ concert. At 16 I discovered my voice and enjoyed filling the church with music that reached not only the ear but the heart as well, filling the audience with a sense of joy and movement.



I began studying religion in Eichstatt in 1985 and learned not only musical but also personal and pedagogical lessons from the cathedral’s music director, W. Menschick. In 1990 I graduated from BfM Altötting with a C-note. In 1993 I spent a year at the Orff Institute for Dance in Salzburg. Afterwards I began my career as a religion teacher and lay employee of the parish, leading the church choir and singing and dance groups as well.



I live happily in the country with my five children and premier my compositions with my group “Orhwürmer”, in which my children also play the flute. The pieces must be easy for beginners to play and quickly learn. I’m very happy to share my “treasures” here on this platform!
