Anton Günther (* June 5, 1876 in Gottesgab, Bohemia; † April 29, 1937) was a German folk poet and singer of the Erzgebirge (mountainous area between Saxony and Bohemia). He is regarded as the inventor of the song postcard, a postcard with simple music pictures, texts and his own lithographs.
