Paul Ragaz is a flutist and composer. For several years he has been arranging and composing mainly for his chromatic 44 barrel organ (from the workshop of Christian Wittmann), whose sound he also expands by combining it with other instruments. The large contrabass flute has a special function here, adding a bass register so to speak to the barrel organ.
