Ferrari, Jorge Luis 06/26/1954

Jorge Luis Ferrari was born in Rosario, Argentina, in 1954. In 1982, after working as a psychiatrist along five years, he left that profession to devote himself completely to music. He is a singer and choir conductor. He has been also principal of a music school in his city. He started to dedicate full time to composition only in 2015, when he got retirement in his school. Six of the compositions he wrote since then have got awards, in different competitions that took place in Ukraine (KLK New Music), Finland (VocalEspoo) and Hong Kong (Hong Kong Children’s Choir). His style always mixes past and present, but he explores different forms of mixing in each composition.
