Born 1963 in Stuttgart, Germany. After graduating from high school and doing alterntive military service he studied piano (classical music and pop/jazz) at the MHS (Music Conservatory in Stuttgart. Since 1991 full-time lecturer for piano and practical piano playing at the ''Pädagogische Hochschule Ludwigsburg'' (University of Education). Since 1995 organist in the duo "Horn & Pipe", crossover jazz with saxophone and church organ. With this duo so far 5 CD productions. 2016 Composition Prize at the ''Festival Europäische Kirchenmusik'' (Festival of European Sacred Music) in Schwäbisch Gmünd. 2017 Composition "Caprice 12" as part of the "New Paganini Project" of SWR (German radio station) and Sony Classical. In 2018 he won the autumn edition of "Composer-Slam" in Ludwigsburg.
