Master of Musical Arts (major in composition and arrangements) from the Faculty of Arts (ASAB) of the ''Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas''. Student of mechanical engineering at the ''Universidad Nacional de Colombia''. He has experience as a teacher in the field of music with primary school children, adolescents and senior citizens. He is part of the research group "Unidad de Investigación En el Área de Armonía" at the ''University Distrital Francisco José de Caldas'' and has written and published articles related to applications of computing and mathematics in musical composition. Eddie Jonathan through his work explores electroacoustic music, algorithmic composition and applications of evolutionary computing in music.
He received the scholarship for active students ''Las Jornadas de Música Contemporánea del Círculo Colombiano de Música Contemporánea (CCMC)'' in 2016 under the direction of Professor Víctor Agudelo. He composed the work "Tres Lecturas De La Vida'' [Three Readings of Life] for violin and piano, performed by the Canadian duo Wapiti. In addition, he received mention from the Center for Scientific Research and Development (ICSD) at the District University for the project of Research/Creation Symbiosis. Composition for indeterminate instruments and acoustic entities.
