Karl Nußbaumer: Karl Nußbaumer was born on June 30, 1875 in Salzburg. Little is known about him and his work. From the few documents can be deduced that he was first in his native city musically and compositionally active and that at least between the years 1899 and 1909. In the following years, his path led him to Innsbruck. There he worked until his early death - on April 29, 1916 he fell as a soldier at the Folgoridapaß in Trentino - as choirmaster of the Servite Order in Innsbruck. In this capacity he wrote numerous works that were performed by the Servites. His compositions were so successful and popular that they were published by the renowned Böhm Verlag in Augsburg.
