Hauser, Miska 1822 - 12/08/1887

Miska (Michael) Hauser (* 1822 in Bratislava; † December 8, 1887 in Vienna) was an Austro-Hungarian violin virtuoso and composer.
Hauser's father, a well-known violinist and friend of Beethoven, awakened a passion for playing the violin in his son.
From 1839 onwards, Hauser undertook a large number of extensive concert tours through Germany, Scandinavia, Russia, England, the USA, South America and Australia and earned himself a reputation as an excellent violin virtuoso.
