Edmund Eysler:
Edmund Eysler was born on March 12, 1874 in Vienna as the son of a merchant. His acquaintance with Leo Fall, however, led him to study music at the conservatory of the ''Gesellschaft der Musikfreunde'' (Society of Musical Friends) in Vienna where he studied composition with Robert Fuchs and educated as a piano teacher and Kapellmeister.
