Patrick Egge was born in Augsburg, Germany in 1987. After completing his general qualification for university entrance (Abitur-social sciences), he studied school music with a major in piano, a minor in composition and a minor in wind orchestra conducting under Prof. Halder at the State University of Music in Trossingen from April 2009 to April 2014. In October 2014 he extended his studies with the scientific minor subject in jazz and popular music. In January 2017 he received a Master of Music in choral conducting under Prof. Alber. He is currently working as a secondary school teacher at the Helfenstein-Gymnasium in Geislingen an der Steige as a conductor and as a freelance composer/arranger.
