She was Born in 1981 in Tehran (Iran). She received her Music diploma in Tar (an Iranian string instrument) at Tehran Music Conservatory in 1999, BA in Music at Tehran Azad University in 2003. She has participated in various international European and Iranian Music Festivals as a tar player and conductor.
She moved to Salzburg (Austria) to study “Music and Dance Education” in Carl Orff Institute (Mozarteum University) in 2006.
After her graduation, she returned to Iran to carry on teaching music and dance to children. She has been organizing and teaching different Orff-Schulwerk teacher training workshops in different cities of Iran. She is also producing and publishing music for children at Adamak institute.
Adamak is the Iranian Orff-Schulwerk association which has been established in Tehran by Nastaran and her colleagues in 2016 and she is the president of this association.
