Gustav Trautmann (1866-1926) was a scholarship holder of the Mozart Foundation Frankfurt a. M. 1888-1893. studies in Breslau
and Frankfurt am Main. In Frankfurt since 1892 teacher at the Hochsche Conservatory, since 1893 head of the
Schuler's Male Chorus. 1896 University music director in Giessen. 1906 appointed professor.
