Ignace de Sutter (Ghent, July 5, 1911 - Belsele, August 10, 1988) was a Flemish composer and musicologist.
Ignace de Sutter, the son of Karel de Sutter was director of the Kortrijk Conservatory and the municipal music schools in Oudenaarde and Ronse He received his higher education in Kortrijk. On May 22, 1937, he was ordained a priest. From 1946 to 1968 he was a teacher at the Episcopal Normal School Our Lady Presentation in Sint-Niklaas. From 1968 to 1977 he taught hymnology at the Leuven Lemmens Institute. From 1965 he became diocesan inspector for music education in Ghent.
De Sutter was cofounder and vice president of the Halewijn Foundation. He also provided music lessons for school radio.
