Born in 1941 in the Romanian Banat. As a Banater Swabian you have the brass-band music already in your own family.
My father played tenor horn, my brother was a trombonist and conductor.
Training:
- Artistic High School in Temeswar
- National College of Music with state examination the specializing in trombone in Bucharest
After my escape to West Germany:
- College of Music in Hamburg with state examination for the higher teaching position
Work as trombonist:
- Symphonic orchestra, opera orchestra (1st trombonist)
- Jazz with participation in two international jazz festivals
- Music teacher at the "Hamburger Christianeum”
- Founding of a concert band, which won prices and toured frequently international.
