Heinrich Reinhardt (* April 13, 1865 in Pressburg, Imperial Austria; † January 31, 1922 in Vienna) was a successful Austrian operetta composer from the beginning of the 20th century.
He studied at the '' Konservatorium der Gesellschaft der Musikfreunde'' (Conservatory of the Society of the Friends of Music) in Vienna. Among his teachers was Anton Bruckner. An excellent pianist and organist, he turned to composition. He composed songs and salon music which were soon followed by two operas. With the premiere of the operetta "Das Süße Mädel" on October 25, 1901 at the ''Carltheater'' in Vienna, he initiated the transition from the "golden" to the "silver era" of the operetta.
Reinhardt also worked as a music writer and critic. From 1914 to 1922 he was president of the Austrian Composers' Association.
