Günter Sopper : Fremdenführer second
A collection of poems called "Guides" by Max Hiti from the poetry anthology "of course Fürstenfeld is seaside", appeared in Syria-Verlag in 1995 (like many from him). His poems are characterised by great images and he sees the sea and peninsulas in this cycle of four poems from Dreikreuzberg (on which the Mission House St. Severin is located) looking on the underlying city and landscape. The cycle fits to Ernst Krenek's "Travel Book from the Austrian Alps", which since my youth I can still hear Julius Patzak singing with such ease. In keeping with the poems, my version adds a new aspect to each verse.
