Dénes von Buday (* October 8, 1890 in Budapest; † October 19, 1963 ibid) was a Hungarian film composer.
Buday first studied in Budapest at the Royal Hungarian Academy of Music. In the years 1919 to 1924 he worked in Vienna. He and his friend Albert Hetényi Heidelberg broadcast the "Funny Hour" on Budapest Radio from 1925 to 1927.
One of his internationally known works is the music to the Hollywood-style film Premiere (1937).
