Louis Wolfe Gilbert (* August 31, 1886 in Odessa; † July 13, 1970 in Los Angeles) was a U.S. composer of Russian origin who came to the United States at the age of one.
He composed the waltz ''Ramona'' in 1927, with which the ''Blue Diamonds'' had a great success as a foxtrot in 1960.
