Karl Eduard Oscar Richard Stauch (* November 15, 1901 in Berlin; † December 14, 1968 ibid.) was a German compose His main focus was film music.
Stauch was a student of Willy Mattes and W. Forcks at the Music Academy in Berlin, which later merged into the Berlin University of the Arts. After completing his studies, he composed operettas and light music. He also wrote the film music for over 20 film and television productions. He began his work in 1933 and from the 1950s onwards he was mainly involved in fairy tale films by Fritz Genschow. His last film works date from the 1960s.
