Biandrate?, end of the 16th century - †Faenza?, after 1633.
There is little information about his life. Although he is called "Roman" in his publications, he may have been born in Biandrate, near Novara, since his surname and variants derive from that place.
He seems to have been maestro di cappella at the Roman Seminary in Rome, possibly from 1618 to 1619, and from 1619 to 1633 he was maestro di cappella at Faenza Cathedral.
At least around 1626-27 he was also maestro di cappella at the Accademia Spennati in Faenza, to which he dedicated his Op 1 and 2.
