Montalbòddo [now Ostra], Marche, 6 April 1631 - †Montalbòddo, 4 August 1708.
We have no information, but it is thought that he may be a nephew or relative of his namesake nicknamed "Il Romano", who was born in the same village. The son of Antinoro and Lorenza, he was ordained to the priesthood on June 11, 1650, and received his ordination between 1652 and 53. He first worked as a musician in Rome: on March 10, 1661 he was a candidate for a tenor position in the Sistine Chapel; while still a singer, his presence in San Luigi dei Francesi is attested for the events of August 25 in 1661, 1662, 1663, 1664, 1665, and on August 25, 1674 he served as organist in the third choir. From June 1662 to November 1664 he was organist at San Luigi dei Francesi and acted as maestro di cappella at the most important feasts.
