Johannes Beschnitt , born April 30, 1825 in Bockau , Silesia , died July 24, 1880 in Szczecin , was a German composer .
Beschnitt was cantor and teacher at the Roman Catholic school and choir director in Stettin from 1848. He composed a large number of light and melodious male choruses.
