Felix Hagmann was an employee of the Swiss Federal Railways. He was able to retire relatively early (before the age of 60) and then devoted himself to his two passions, music and travel. The latter took him to all continents and he mostly used trains wherever possible. Mr. Hagmann was an enthusiastic amateur pianist and also wrote some of his own compositions. In the present work, he has musically processed his impressions of a journey through British Columbia. In April 2023, Mr. Hagmann died suddenly and unexpectedly on a hike in the Swiss Alps.
