Francesco Ciampi
Francesco Ciampi (* 1690 in Pisa; † after 1764 in Rome) was an Italian violinist and composer.
Francesco Ciampi first served as a violinist, then as Kapellmeister at the court of the Duke of Massa, Alderamo Cybo-Malaspina. On July 3, 1719, Ciampi was accepted into the renowned ''Accademia Filarmonica'' in Bologna. From 1735, he became bandmaster in Rome, at the now destroyed church of Sant'Angelo Custode. There are no more notes about him after 1764.
